Good points
The book provides valuable methods for legally directing the huge amounts of traffic on eBay to an external website. The creative ideas provided make setting up a Machine to run alongside one's current product and improving it to increase sales easy.
This technique spreads the risk of your business so that should your business on eBay be slow, this thing is offset by your business on the external site probably doing better. Moreover, when setup is complete, the Machine is automated, providing you with regular income even when on vacation.
Bad points
A lot of time, effort, and research must be put in when setting up an efficient Machine, before one can realise any passive income. As the Machine mostly requires an external website, an added expense incurred, in addition to acquiring new skills like HTML programming.
In order to set up the Machine and necessary to familiarize one-self with affiliate programs, further requiring time and effort. Finally, the benefits gained from setting up a Silent Sales Machine are slightly over-exaggerated in the book.
