My delivery was a BREEZE and my husband and I enjoyed your acupressure points throughout the entire labor. I also wanna say a big thanks for your book on acupressure for helping to induce birth. I was towards the end of my pregnany, although I admit only 38 weeks but I was suffering badly & knew I had a healthy & good sized baby that was predicted to be above average birth weight at 40weeks. I used the pressure points only on my hands & between my shoulders & didn't really do it that much, just a bit during the day on Sun May 6. At 11pm that night my waters broke. About half an hour later contractions started & we went to the hospital at 2am. I hadn't had time to read about the pain help & honestly didn't expect it to work so I did think 'why did i do that acupressure' but after Thomas was born at 12;42pm on May 7 I was so glad I had tried your technique. My first labor was induced and I didn’t want it for the second time. That’s why I used Labor Acupressure to dilate and encourage contractions. I used many points you referenced, but the main one that was a miracle worker in my labor was the pain pressure point in the ball of the foot! First I labored in my own home. Thank you so much, your book was a true miracle. I'm happy to announce that I have delivered a baby boy on Nov 27, 2006, weighting 6lbs12oz. My due date was on Nov 25, 2006; my doctor was already going to induce my labor on Nov 27, 2006. I really wanted to go into labor on my own. Being worried of being induced I needed a miracle so I tried everything possible, from the hot baths and long walks still no action. So I went online to look up some research on how to induce labor. I found your wonderful site and a blessing at that. I ordered my book on Nov 26, 2006 and started my acupressure point and shared these wonderful tips with my partner. Last time my doctor check my cervix a week ago I was at 3cm. We stood home all day Sunday relaxing and practicing the acupressure points. Laughing of excitement of knowing something was about to happen. I had my doctor appt on Nov 27, 2006 at 3:00pm. My doctor asked how I'm feeling I said just fine and thinking to myself he's going to check me and say “no progress, you still remain at 3cm”. Come to know doctor tells me I'm 6cm and sent me to the hospital. I arrived at 7:00pm and delivered my baby at 9:27pm. I gave my self a score of 10 points for handling the contraction that felt so minor and my husband for helping me with the wonderful methods we received from your book.
