Loving trains has been a family passion even before I was born. In fact, we've lived near a train track and the sounds of trains most of my life. Loving model trains became a natural interest for me. As a secondary history teacher studying the expansion of the West and the impact of the train, I've gained a huge amount of knowledge about the history of trains and model train railroading. My purpose is for as many children and adults as possible to experience the fun and fellowship, to expand their appreciation of the history of trains and to enjoy the creative outlet that this hobby brings.
