Your job is accept the bad beats as part of the game and realize that you can and WILL win in the long run, but only if you take an honest look at your game and plug any leaks you might have.     It wasn't too long ago when I struggled with my game, but once I identified and plugged the leaks in my game, things started going my way, and I've never looked back.     Winning poker players invariably have 2 qualities:     1. They're very aggressive.     2. They constantly work on their game.     When I started playing live tournaments, I didn't do very well. I was stuck, but I KNEW I could do better. I decided that I would to do whatever it takes to become a great player.     With a renewed focus and dedication, I looked at my game and figured out what was working and what wasn't. I realized that I was actually playing TOO tight.     Once I adopted a more aggressive style, things started going my way. There was definitely a learning curve, and it didn't happen overnight, but that one change ultimately had the biggest positive impact to my game.     All of the better players I know constantly work on their game. They talk about the game with other good players. If you want to improve your game, you need to know how the better players think about the game and start to think differently about the game yourself, or else you virtually condemn yourself to a life sentence of making the same mistakes over and over again.     Einstein famously said, "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." If poker has been driving your crazy, maybe it's time you try a different approach. You Have to Do Things Differently If You Hope to Get Different Results.      Some people claim that they are self-taught. And while that may be possible, you can achieve similar or better results without having to learn your lessons the hard (and often, expensive) way. Not only that, but if you try to figure things out "in the trenches" without any guidance, you may never achieve the level of success you truly desire.     The fastest and easiest way to achieve success in life is to model successful people. Learn what they know... and do what they do... and you'll start to get similar results. The path is MUCH faster and easier, and the success rate is MUCH higher.     Poker has evolved dramatically in the past few years. The players are just getting better online, plain and simple. Let me be blunt. If you are not constantly working on your game, you will lose to the players who ARE working on their game. Practice Alone is NOT Enough.     You need to come to the tables fully prepared, and to do that, you need to learn what the best players are doing at the tables to stand a chance.     You don't need to be the best player at your table... you just need to know a basic set of core fundamentals so you're not giving your money away. And that's essentially what you're doing if your opponents know these fundamentals and you don't. Who Else Wants My $4,157,637.00 No Limit Hold'em Secrets?     Yes, it's true.
