foreclosuresearch.ca is a total scam. I signed up for their $7 trial membership. I contacted one of the listing agents who told me the website is no good and the listing is not up to date. She said she gets phone calls from people using the site about properties that were sold as long as a year ago. I went ahead to cancel my membership. Their website says there are two ways to cancel. One is by filling out a cancellation form and the other is by calling 1-888-829-5832 (that is only phone number you can find on the entire website). I sent in my cancellation form and think that I probably get a confirmation e-mail in my inbox. (They did say that their response usually end up in junk or spam folder ( I should have know right there that it is not a legit website).) Anyway, I find their response indeed in the junk folder one day later, and the e-mail gives you a link to "initiate" the cancellation process. So they make you fill out all the information in a form and then they respond with an e-mail which gives you a link to "initiate" the cancellation process? ARe you kidding me? They are just making it hard. I followed the link and filled out all the information again and click "next", the next page does not give any option for cancellation. So I feel like I am going around in circles and decided to call the 1-888-829-5832 number. Guess what, it is always voicemail. I have tried to call more less than a dozen of times and everything I get voicemail. So foreclosuresearch.ca is a total scam. I saw the website advertised at this link http://torontoforeclosurelist.com/blog/foreclosed-homes-toronto-3/ and it is a total fake newspage. Anywhere you click on that page, you will be re-routed to foreclosuresearch.ca And the dates for the comments are all updated everyday so they appear recent.Stay away from this website and if you are in consumer protection or law enforcement or anything related, look into this. There is a fraud and a criminal case here.
