My wife and I used to search the furniture just to get enough money eat at McDonalds. We were broke...and just barely making it while going deeper in debt every single month.

Debt collectors were calling us at all hours of the day and night. We struggled and thought about money constantly. We prayed. We pleaded. We stood on the Scriptures. We tithed and gave constantly believing for a return on our giving. But we never seemed to get ahead. The debt kept growing...and we kept feeling like we were always moving backward.

It all changed the day I received the simple revelation.

From that day forward we were able to pay our bills. The debts started shrinking. I could take care of my family. And we were able to give more to others.

Today we have more than enough money to buy whatever we want. We are able to give generously to our church and the poor. Our investment accounts are continually growing. Even our mortgage is completely paid off. And it is all thanks to God and what He has done for us...

What Was the Revelation That Changed Our Life?

It was simple. And it came from James 1:5, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."

Standing on that scripture, I decided to quit praying for money...and start praying for wisdom instead.

The truth is wisdom brings wealth with it (II Chronicles 1:12, Proverbs 4:7-8, Proverbs 8:11, Proverbs 24:3-4).

From that day forward, I quit praying for money. I started praying for wisdom, and we haven't had a problem with money since.

Step-by-step the Lord led us with wisdom...how to get out of debt, how to increase our income, and how to start our own very profitable businesses.

It wasn't instantaneous and it didn't happen overnight, but we hit a breakthrough the moment we changed how we were praying. We moved forward instead of backwards. The debts were paid instead of piling up. Our attitude about money and wealth changed.

I'm so thankful for what happened. It changed our lives...and it can change yours.

Christian Financial Freedom Is About More Than Just Giving

I know you've heard it. You've been told to tithe. You've been told to give.

Yet, there are millions of good, hard working Christians who do that, but they can't seem to get ahead. I understand. I've been there. I was a giver when I was broke and in debt...and I'm still a giver today.

It wasn't my giving that made the difference. It really wasn't.

In most churches you only hear part of the story. You hear about giving, but you don't hear about the other elements that are essential to receive God's blessings on your finances.

And it's not because anyone is purposely holding back information. I don't believe they are. It's simply because most ministers don't know what YOU need to do to receive God's blessings.

They're called to be in the ministry. God's will for them is to be supported by the ministry. They're given "miracle" checks and offerings that take care of their needs. The majority of believers are not in full-time ministry, so God's plan to meet your needs and supply abundance to you is different.
