I was really stumped if you want the beach house style to be the one that is a few beachy more expensive objects, or go all out and heaps of cheaper beachy things...mmm I was wondering!

Hi Susie, still loving your book.

I have a question about white.I absolutely love white (bright white) but find it hard to make it look good with different whites as you can't always get identical match but seems to look good in others homes or magazines when they mix whites.

I don't know if i'm missing something that i should know about white.I have had it in my last 2 houses and love it .I am just about to have plantation shutters hung and are so worried when they go up they won't be a good match for my lovely white walls as i don't like yellow white I love bright white.  Am I right is there something I don't know about white? Is there a secret to mixing white? Also bought a lounge six years ago supposed to be bright white so disappointed I actually could sell it as a cream lounge.

I am doing my coastal theme house with a small amount of a light beige ,you know those lovely striped cushions (White and beige) I know you said beige can be dull but I am only doing it in accents like my lighthouse in white with a beige top and oars white with a small amount of beige at bottom,fish white with a beige tail ,clock white with beige on outer edge etc.Still got no idea about lounges.  Thought about slip covers I will have to send you pictures of the shape of my room and photos of all the beautiful things I have bought ready to go in it. 

I don't even really know what I am now.  Used to be minamalist modern but now I am so into coastal, white painted furniture, white benches and adirondack chairs  and striped deck chairs outside, inside split cane chairs painted white, bamboo egg swivel chair, and just about to paint my brown woven chairs white and white table for dining room also white wooden sea chest with a beautiful huge sail boat on it. 

I know I can have it looking beautiful but just can't seem to tie it altogether in my past-- I haven't tried yet with this house and this theme everything ready but will try soon as my shutters will be here and should make a big difference and again room shape is a bit of a pain so will need help with that as well.

Dont know if i am west indies, eclectic ,hamptons, I also have a fantastic big mirror with  shutters on it just gorgeous so coastal I live across from Lake Macquarie so it is great spot for coastal theme house. Please help me (lol)
