A muscle builder's aim is to increase his muscle mass. He exercises with that goal in mind and this same goal dictates his diet too. The human body uses a process called 'anabolism' in order to 'build up' muscle mass. Anabolism uses the energy provided by the breakdown of nutrients and builds up muscles in the system. All the food that muscle builder intakes can be classified under a simple word, 'Anabolic food'. They have the right amount of calories and help in building the muscle into the body. However, there is a catch. All foods are not anabolic foods. There are those foods, which simply pile on fats without contributing to muscle mass.

He is a self-confessed fitness enthusiast and to sustain the muscles built in his system thus far, he created many recipes, which he terms as 'anabolic' recipes. He says that the most common fallacy that one hears repeatedly is that anything that tastes good is unhealthy and contributes to fat. The second false belief is that one cannot have a meal from a restaurant that burns fat and contributes to muscle building at the same time. the third misconception that one may have is that they are not capable of producing tasty , home cooked meals which leave one wanting for more. Another commonly held misbelieve is that home cooked meals rob a person of all the time that they have and that take out dinners are time and labour saving - while the truth is quite different. The author says that most people believe that buying groceries at the store cost more than the prepared, take away meal. All these myths have been busted in this program with ample proof.
